Montana drivers know that it is important to always be careful when driving. When negligence occurs, such as drinking and driving or distracted driving, people can be seriously injured or even killed.

A fatal car accident occurred this past Saturday afternoon near Ennis. A man from Bozeman was driving northbound in a Mazda Protege on U.S. Highway 287 when he was struck by a Chevrolet pickup heading southbound that crossed into his lane. After the collision, the pickup spun and wound up in a nearby field. The Mazda spun and ended up on a side road. The driver of the pickup was airlifted to a nearby hospital, but the driver of the Mazda died.

When a loved one is seriously injured or killed in a car accident, there are many unanswered questions. If an accident is caused by negligence in another driver, compensation may be due to the victim’s family. A legal professional skilled in personal injury can help families determine what happened, investigate the accident scene and determine who is at fault. They can let families know what their legal options are and fight to receive maximum compensation for their tremendous loss. An attorney can negotiate with the negligent driver’s insurance company and go to court on the family’s behalf, if necessary.

Injuries or death suffered in a car accident can be life-altering for victims and their families. It is important to hold those responsible in order to receive maximum compensation and be able to move past this tragic event.
