Montana residents may have seen reports that a woman was injured in a three car pile-up recently. The three car accident happened at the corner of Crestwood Lane and North Montana Ave.

Initially the driver of a four door Cadillac sedan was stopped on North Montana Avenue for oncoming traffic to clear in order to take a left hand turn onto Crestwood Lane. As the driver of the Cadillac was stopped on the road a Toyota hatchback came to a stop behind the Cadillac. Before the driver of the Cadillac could make the left turn, the Toyota was rear-ended by a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck that was traveling down the highway.

All three vehicles sustained damage as a result of the three car collision, with the Toyota hatchback receiving the brunt of the damage to both its front and rear side. However, all three vehicles were able to be driven away from the scene of the accident.

Fire department services and an ambulance were dispatched to the scene of the accident. The driver of the Toyota sustained injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, but her injuries were listed as non-life-threatening. No one was immediately charged and no citations were issued as police are still investigating the accident.

Vehicular accidents, no matter how minor, have the potential to result to injuries, some of which may not be evident right away. Car accidents routinely happen on the roadways, and sadly the collisions can claim lives or result in permanent disabilities. Traffic laws are in place to minimize accidents, but they still happen frequently. Anyone who is injured in a car accident and believes that another driver was negligent may want to get more information about their legal options.
